You can learn how to dress for your body type and accentuate your best features.
Determining your body type
The first step to dressing for success is determining your body type. There are five main body types:
Triangle
(also known as pear)
Inverted Triangle
Straight or Boyish
Apple
Hourglass
To determine your body type, you'll need to take some precise measurements. In this Youtube video, I show you how to properly measure your bust, waist, and hips to determine your body type.
Once you know your body type, you can focus on the parts of your body that you love and hide the parts that you don't.
For example, if you have a triangle body type like Beyoncé or Marilyn Monroe, you'll want to accentuate your waist and show off your legs.
On the other hand, if you have an inverted triangle body type like Renée Zellweger, you'll want to create the illusion of a narrower shoulder line.
